As well as gorillas, Uganda has chimpanzees, over 20 endemic species of birds and the Rwenzori Mountains, often referred to as the “Mountains of the Moon”, the highest mountain range in Africa.

The variety of mammals and bird life here is astonishing. Uganda does not have the larger accolades of the Serengeti or the vastness of Selous but the main predators and prey are here and in abundance in Uganda. Now is the time to visit.
